My favourite thing to hear is “that’s just how we do it,” because it tells me there’s room for improvement. I find new, effective, often simple solutions by breaking problems down to their root cause and the why behind them.

A love of complex puzzles, an experimental streak, and curiosity about how things work at their root took me into engineering physics after the armed forces. A competitive drive to keep a global view of the systems I build brought me to product management. The need to stay creative and flexible under novelty and stress made startups and my own ventures a natural fit. An eternal dissatisfaction keeps me hunting for the next improvement or better tool, once I’ve celebrated the wins.

That’s how I stay versatile across domains: hardware, software, and now AI as both a tool and a medium to build in. Zero to ship or reviving an old product, I’m a natural builder and leader who flows between teams seamlessly.
