About
What lets me work across hardware, software, and AI isn't deep expertise in any one of them. It's a set of attributes that travel: a global, unbiased perspective, and a stubborn focus on getting to the real problem before building.
How I work
In practice that means holding a whole-system view of whatever I'm building, surfacing the blind spots, and cutting a messy problem down to the part that actually matters, so a team knows what to prioritize and what to ignore. My favourite thing to hear is 'that's just how we do it,' because it almost always means there's a better way waiting to be found. The harder and more ambiguous the environment, the more that way of working pays off.
How I lead
I've coached athletes for over a decade, and it carries straight into how I lead product teams. I relate to people, listen for the deeper meaning behind what they're really asking for, and get them genuinely bought into where we're heading. Clarity, context, and helping people sharpen their craft. The short version: when I'm on a team, things get done.

Right now I'm Director of Product at DéteXion. Before that, product roles at EXFO and Evident / Olympus NDT, alongside a run of my own ventures across performance training and direct-to-consumer hardware. The full record of what I've built lives on the portfolio.
Background
A Bachelor's in Engineering Physics from Université Laval, after time in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Combat Engineer. More than a decade as a strength and conditioning coach. Bilingual EN/FR. Neurodivergent (AuDHD), which gives me a pattern-recognition and systems-thinking lens that fits product leadership in complex, ambiguous environments.
Outside of work
I race and ride bikes on every surface I can find, road and gravel. I work with individual athletes as a strength and conditioning coach, and I consult with other coaches on how to package and deliver their expertise.
